DuPont™ Vespel® SP-1 Sheet
Vespel® SP polyimide Sheet, is produced from advanced polymers developed by DuPont. As the authorized distributor, thyssenkrupp Engineered Plastics / Online Plastics® offers all Vespel grades in sheet in a variety of sizes.
SP-1 is an unfilled Vespel and it is available in sheet. SP-1 is the most widely known and most popular becuase it provides superior wear and insulation properties as well as operating temperatures from cryogenic to 300°C. SP-1 also has low electrical conductivity. It posseses the highest elongation and purity of the entire SP line of materials.
