DuPont™ Vespel® SCP-5050 Rod
Vespel® SP polyimide Rod is produced from advanced polymers developed by DuPont. As the authorized distributor, thyssenkrupp Engineered Plastics / Online Plastics® offers all Vespel grades in rods in a variety of sizes.
SCP-5050 is an unfilled Vespel and it is available in rod. SCP-5050 has thermal expansion properties similar to steel, and improved high temperature performance up to 300°C. The filler technology used in SCP-5050 reduces friction and dramatically improves wear resistance versus Vespel® SP-21 parts.
