Highly chemical resistant virgin PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) exhibits an extremely low coefficient of friction to the point of being a self-lubricating non-stick surface. PTFE sheet has a wide working temperature range. PTFE sheet is ideal for bearings, seals, and insulators. For improved mechanical strength see filled versions.
